Open House Roadshows
Public open house meetings are hosted by High Point 2045’s Steering Committee members and consultants to present findings and engage participants in trade-offs and decision-making.

Now that we've received your input on the major components of the comprehensive plan, the Planning Team is in the process of developing a draft comprehensive plan document. It will be available for public review in mid-February 2024!

April 2023 Open House Roadshow
Four open houses were held across the High Point community on April 11th and 12th, 2023 in both the afternoon and evening.
Participants had an opportunity to learn about the planning process, help identify the ‘Big Things’ that the comprehensive plan must get right, share their thoughts regarding community values, and talk with members of the project steering committee.

July 2023 Open House Roadshow
Through in-person open houses and an online open house survey in July and August, the High Point community weighed in on outcomes for the 'Big Things' and on future growth and development scenarios.

November 2023 Open House
The November open houses gave the High Point community an opportunity to provide feedback on the Growth Framework and Place Types.
The Growth Framework reflects how the community weighed in on how and where most new growth should be directed. At the November open houses, the community was asked to envision where different Place Types could be located in the future in relation to Activity Centers and other assets across High Point.
